Clarence Kenney

Clarence John "Pike" Kenney (January 13, 1882 – November 28, 1950) was an American football player and coach. He played college football as the University of Saint Louis. Kenney was captain of the team in 1906 when his teammate, Bradbury Robinson, completed the first legal forward pass in the history of American football on September 5 at Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Kenney was the eighth head football coach at Marquette University located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and he held that position for the 1912 season. His coaching record at Marquette was 3 wins, 4 losses, and 0 ties. Since Marquette has discontinued its football program, this ranks him 17th at Marquette in total wins and 13th at Marquette in winning percentage (.429).〔(College Football Data Warehouse )〕
